Some kling-klang noises in the engine when shifting down remind me not everything is plastic on this thing, As long as nobody’s leaving the ship, it’s all good. Ideal for the city or wet road conditions. APRC includes user-configurable traction control, wheelie control, quickshift, and even launch control; it really does help you ride faster, safer.

The innovative valve timing system with the chain camshaft driving only the intake camshaft, which in turn drives the exhaust camshaft via a single gear has allowed the use of extremely compact heads just mm at the rear of the engineespecially in the area beneath the frame spars, which are thus much narrower than would otherwise be possible.

I think its a beautiful looking bike and the quality of the components are great but its not as well put together as a Honda or Ducati the plastics feel flimsy and it does not all line up perfectly. A superbike with high handlebars. The handling is sublime quick turning and stable at speed. The seat is comfortable enough on journeys up to two hours, I would not recommend the bike for touring or commuting, but this is not what the bike is about. Well, riding with a former racer two nights ago, the Tuono easily walked away from his Z, simply putting down its power in situations where the Z would just lift its front.

This bikes managed to put me back where I was 25 years ago: Wow the feeling on this bike is awesome and the noise of the engine. The rider will be taming this beast from a riding position tailored to create a symbiotic relationship between the body and the bike, for unparalleled feedback through the three points of contact – the saddle, footpegs and handlebars.

It’s like a 22 years old beauty, with brains. Lots of bike for the money. Double braced aluminum swingarm; mixed low thickness and sheet casting technology; Sachs piggy back monoshock with completely adjustable: An Italian streetfighter worth of the name.

The stock pipe on this Tuono and the new RSV4 is unbelievably loud, straight from the showroom.

A race can on the demo makes a sound to die for and the bike is almost everything any ageing sportsbike rider could want Cast aluminum wheels with 3 split spoke design. Chuck Berry on fire in the ears, accelarations that make you fear for your fillings and even willing to commute!

The Tuono is superbly built, has robust paintwork and a polished frame and swingarm.
